LIBERTY NETWORKS TO ACQUIRE GOLD DATA IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

INDOTEL Approves Liberty Networks Acquisition of Gold Data Dominicana. The regulatory authority noted that the transaction demonstrates confidence in the Dominican Republic and will strengthen it’s national and international connectivity.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – May 8, 2026 - Liberty Networks, a leading provider of enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the full transfer of all the shares of Gold Data Dominicana, a company specializing in telecommunications infrastructure and services. The acquisition was approved by INDOTEL, and the parties may now proceed to prepare the closing, which will be communicated in due course in accordance with their internal agreements.

The acquisition was approved on May 7, 2026, by the Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (INDOTEL), the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing and promoting the development of the telecommunications sector in the Dominican Republic.

“This investment and acquisition demonstrates our continued commitment to the Dominican Republic, expands our overall presence and our local footprint. The combined network will benefit from increased, resiliency, redundancy and provides scale for further innovation”, said Ray Collins, Liberty Latin America's SVP of Infrastructure and Corporate Strategy and CEO of Liberty Networks.

According to Renato Tradardi, CEO of Gold Data: "This transaction is a strategic divestiture and part of a broader portfolio reorganization through which Gold Data is concentrating its capital and resources on our core business in Mexico, our largest and most strategic market. We are proud of what we built in the Dominican Republic and confident that, the Parties will complete the closing of this transaction in the short term, while prioritizing the continuity of service for customers and the stability and well-being of employees during the transition.
